| IMOLA Project > Activities > Co-Management > Bylaws |
The development of bylaws (charter) is not an independent process, but rather an integral part of establishment and strengthening of FAs.
FA bylaws cover different aspects of the organizational structure and management, including general provisions (names, objectives, and legal status), membership rule and structure, organizational bodies, congress, executive board, checking body, funding, and other provisions. In order to support the development of effective bylaws, the IMOLA Project presented the model of local bylaws to the FAs in order to introduce what were the necessary components for their discussion. The template was then modified according to the specific requirement of each FA, translated into the final FA charters, and later adopted by local FAs.
By now, eighteen project-supported FAs have bylaws (FA charters) that have been approved and signed by relevant government authorities.
