One of the challenges related to the establishment of a co-management process is how to manage relationships among people. The IMOLA Project has been supporting traditional festivities in the target FA communes in order to support community solidarity, strengthen the role of the FA executive board, and raise awareness on FA activities. These festivities include fisherfolk ceremonies, boat races, football matches, volleyball matches, and quizzes between FA members on fishery-related subjects.
